Sweet treats
One of patients came in bearing gifts! Chocolate bars for all the staff and this little cake for me.
This cute note says: “Mrs Lee, Just a little “thank you “ Pina colada cake for helping me with my insurance while your husband works so hard to help my jaw function normally again.
He is amazing and I thank god that he hasn’t given up on me.
Thank you both!

Don’t tell Mother Nature but I think its Spring
In Chinese medicine, there is a cycle of seasons. Winter is the time of water, Spring is wood, Summer is fire, and Fall is metal. When you move between the seasons, there are periods of transition called Earth. During these Earth transitions, your body is more susceptible to disharmony. This disharmony manifests in many ways, such as allergies, body pain, headaches, moodiness, and neurological issues.
There are some practices that can help you adjust to these changes. First, keep the body (particularly the neck) covered in the presence of wind. Second, keep the muscles pliable with regular stretching and exercise. Third, proper nutrition will help with the transition. Read more
Is your Dad a chiro-protratcor
A few days ago one of my daughter’s friends asked her, “Isn’t your daddy a chiroprotractor? We all laughed, I guess he used a protractor in school that day! While I am not a protractor, I do like to teach Proactive Wellness. What is proactive wellness? This is something that is not new in healthcare, and you probably do these things already. Well baby (or child) visits, yearly physicals, GYN visits, mammograms, routine dental cleanings, etc.… The purpose of these visits is to catch issues early or prevent them all together. For example, most people visit a dentist and get 2 cleanings per year. Why do we submit ourselves to this torture (sorry Dentists)? -To prevent any serious issues from occurring. It’s always better to find a little plaque or a small cavity, and take care of it early. Anyone who skips these visits are not surprised when they get a cavity or need extensive treatment. Read more
I can’t move my neck!!!!
This is a screen shot of a post from one of our patients she gave us permission to share her story. She has been to our office on and off over the past 10 years. She, like many of you, is a busy young mom with two kids, lots to do and little time. She is in good shape, goes to the gym a few times a week and even teaches fitness classes.
On Monday, I get a call from her, she says: “Help I heard a pop and I can’t move my neck!”
I asked, “What did you do?”
“I got dressed!”

Stop Wardrobe Malfunction
Do you ever put on a shirt and notice it lays uneven across your body? Ever have a necktie that will not lay straight? Do you have a pair of jeans and the seam does not go straight down your leg? How about a necklace that seems uneven? These are NOT wardrobe malfunctions.
In actuality your body is crooked! Sometimes you are so out of alignment that you can see it in the mirror and sometimes not. This is easily fixed with Chiropractic adjustments. A gentle adjustment will restore the proper alignment in your body.
