Post concussion disorder is when the concussion symptoms linger longer than expected.
Some concussions just need a little more help to heal. Over simplified, a concussion is a sprain and bruise of the brain arising from a traumatic event that can also cause injury to the head, neck and spine. Just like sprains can range from a simple, twisted ankle all the way up to a torn ACL, concussions can run the gamut of severity and recovery time.
A very common lasting symptom of concussions is headaches.
